More than 75 Jewish lawn bowlers from 5 states competed at the 2017 Maccabi Carnival at Mermaid Waters Bowling Club on the Gold  Coast. The New South Wales team was victorious in all categories.
The surprise package of the tournament was NSW duo of Maxine Brem from Double Bay and our very own, Sandy Desiatnik from Terrigal. The two ladies finished the Open Women's Pairs competition undefeated.
Maxine has only been bowling for 5 months. Well done to you both and congratulations from all of us at Terrigal.
